the friend takes off, kevin turns his back to the police and gets in his car. state trooper -- >> open your door, open your door, roll down your window so i can talk to you. >> soon he is not cooperating to a whole new level. he takes off in the truck. >> with a float tire. >> that's when state trooper follows him down to this wooded area and it turns out to be a dead end. >> it's gets scarier. he puts it in reverse, slams it into the police cruiser. apparently it tripped this full pump cut off switch, and the car

couldn't run. and that is the state trooper firing shots to protect himself. he gets away and goes on a chase down highway 53. other police catch up to him, age his blood alcohol was .217 which is almost three times the legal limit. >> i bet he doesn't remember anything. there's a lot of things that cause traffic back ups, but rarely do you see this. this is near west lake, louisiana. that in the roadway is an alligator. and they do that freeze thing. but they think he was hit by an 18-wheeler. he kind of froze after he got hit, but he still puts up a

fight when they try to remove him from the road. he's not hurt that bad, he's still making a move. >> he was scratching his belly. >> or he was laughing that he is blocking traffic. >> they closed one lane, and let cars go by, they did the towel over the eyes and tied a rope on him and pulled him off the road. >> i can't believe they're so close. >> i think if you're a deputy in louisiana, you have to know how to do this. >> that's an amazing fight. >> he did the gator roll thing too. >> they think he has a shot of

surviving. >> yeah, they are tough animals. >> showers and rapid snow melts caused flash floods. rapidly moving waters taking over this community. you see trucks stuck in the water in the rocks and the trees. according to the person that uploaded it is a water ways houseboats. a lot of people were evacuated, but tuesday afternoon at least one of the evacuation orders were lifted and some people have been able to come back to their home. we see the force of this rushing water creating a bit of a water >> look at the destruction behind where this water fall is.
